Nancy Meyers-Harvey

Nancy joined First Baptist Church Basehor as Children’s Ministry Director in August 2025. She oversees Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programming and leads major kids’ events throughout the year, including Vacation Bible School, End of Summer Blast, and Next Level Nights.

With more than thirty years of children’s ministry experience, Nancy has served both as a volunteer and on staff. She previously led children’s ministry at The Fellowship Kansas City for six years and spent over eight years on the children’s ministry team at Lenexa Baptist Church.

Nancy holds a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School. She and her husband Scott have been married since 1988 and have two daughters, Jessica and Nicole, and a son‑in‑law, Austin.

Nancy’s passion is pointing kids to Jesus and teaching God’s Word with clarity, joy, and purpose.
