Larry began serving as the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Missions at FBC Basehor on June 1, 2026.  Until recently, he served at Community Impact Church for nearly nine years.  CIC is a multiethnic church which he and a team planted to reach an ethnically diverse and economically challenged area located in Shawnee, KS.  Prior to that, Larry served at Lenexa Baptist Church for 15 years in a wide variety of roles.  Among other things, he served as the Children’s Pastor, the Missions Pastor, and the Executive Pastor.

Before being called into ministry, Larry worked in the construction industry as one of the owners of Wm. White and Sons Construction Co., a contrator that was based in Kansas City.

Larry and his wife Michelle have been married since December 6, 1986.  The have three wonderful children: Becca (Jon), Hannah (Daniel), and Marcus.  They also have two incredible grandsons, Dallas and Otto. 

 One of Larry’s passions in life is the advancement of the Gospel, from our neighborhoods to the nations.
